Who is Sandy Wold?
Sandy is an American conservation/science educator, writer, and artist who grew up in southern California and northern Florida. She has lived in Ithaca, upstate New York, for over twenty-five years. Her work integrates her long-time interests in nature, sustainability, meditation, metaphysics, and evolution of human consciousness. Now, she is creating her own art. Sandy is most inspired by the work of Ai Weiwei, Alex Grey, David Alfaro Sigueiros, Angeles Santos, Hieronymus Bosch, Picasso, and Frida Kahlo. That is her with Ai Wei Wei..... not. Actually, that was a selfi-stop at Ai Weiwei's 2016 "Freedom" exhibit at the Palazzo Strozzi in Florence, Italy.
